Maria Valtorta’s writings consisted of 17,000 hand-written notebook pages that she passed to her spiritual director-priest, who typed them out as they were written. Maria then proofed the type-written copies. After her death, the collected texts were assembled into 16 published volumes.
Most readers will find it too daunting a task to read Maria’s entire Work even once over. But, these eBooks can help one focus, with less time and effort, the study of a single category of interest, or more. Though apparently narrowly focused, given the title, the excerpted readings provide a very broad spectrum of spiritual treatment than includes Jesus’ evangelization of the peoples of Palestine, Jews and Gentiles, during his earthly life as well as providing deep, theologically-grounded treatises by Him, His Heavenly Father, and the Holy Spirit as well as by The Virgin Mary and others in our modern time.
In the end, God’s empowering invitation to us to love Him will come into focus, which is the reason for Jesus’ call of Maria to her vocation as His “spokesman” for this age.
